This class is designed for nonprofit staff members, but anyone can take this course. Learn how to create content for your organization's mission, whether for social media, web presence, or fundraising purposes. Participants will learn how to tell their organization's story meaningfully and with visual impact.
The class will introduce participants to screen language and sequencing and provide hands-on experience with digital video cameras and professional editing systems.
Participants will work to produce 3 to 4-minute short videos about local nonprofit organizations or stories with a social justice theme.
This workshop's instructor is teaching artist Sam Hampton, PhD. Sam is the executive director of the Social Justice Film Institute and an award-winning documentary filmmaker (hamptonfilms.com).
