Love Letters: A True-Ly Short Epistolary Romance - Video Watch Party and Discussion Panel

Two autistic nonspeakers, Melody and Luke, fall in love via email, only to struggle with sensory realities when they meet in person. "Love Letters – A True-Ly Short Epistolary Romance" is a musical by and about autistic nonspeakers. It is also a universal story of first love - found and lost – and of expectations not matching reality.

Written by Sofia Ghassaei, and augmented with additional lyrics by Caden Rainey, Damon Kirsebom, Danny Whitty, Elizabeth Bonker, Imane Boukaila, Tyler Mason, Wyatt Dutton and Zac Duncan, Love Letters was produced and recorded with a professional cast by Theater of Possibility in Seattle, WA, July 2023.

This livestream premiere of the theatrical production, beautifully captured and edited on video, will be followed by a panel with the playwright and several of the contributing artists, moderated by Elizabeth Vosseller, Director, International Association for Spelling as Communication.
