Dear UHeights Community,

We have some exciting news to share with you all! Please join us in extending a warm and enthusiastic welcome to Angela Mercado, our new executive director at UHeights.

Angela brings over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on social justice and community development. She is a passionate advocate for the rights of all people, and she is committed to making UHeights a space where everyone feels welcome and included.

In her previous role as the executive director of the Domestic Abuse Women's Network (DAWN) in Kent, Angela supported, empowered, and sheltered survivors of domestic abuse in South King County. Additionally, she actively educated the community on how to respond to and prevent violence.

As our new executive director, Angela will lead the charge in advancing our mission to provide a comprehensive range of services and programs that support the needs of our community. She will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with our partners and donors, ensuring that UHeights remains a vibrant and inclusive hub for all.

We are thrilled to embark on this new chapter with Angela, and we can't wait to witness the incredible accomplishments she will achieve in her role. Please join us in extending a warm and generous welcome to Angela as she joins our team.
